I am loving the new collection by Madonna's daughter Lourdes! It is a very cute collection that has a lot of rock edge. The collection has lace, plaid, leather,and even zipper details and it's all for reasonable prices at Macy's & Macys.com.

2010 Video Music Awards

The Good


I just thought Amber Riley looked really cute and appropriate for her age. The whole group is complimenting each other.

This is not my favorite outfit but I am just soooo happy Naturi finally got it right, because she has been on my worst dress list everytime!

Eva Marcielle is just giving me my life! The outfit is hot and chic! I love her new platinum blonde short hair.

This outfit worked for Ke$ha. She said she made it out of trash bags and I honestly this is the best I've seen her look.

The Bad

The New Boys are still looking like they rolled out of the streets of LA. That's cool and all, because I am from LA, but it's award show and I expect people to step their game up.

Roxy Olin is a star of "The City" and her outfits are usually interesting, but this outfit is just too much for me.

I should be used to Laurie Ann Gibson's insteresting choice of outfits, but I don't. I think this outfit would be a great outfit for the stage, but not necessarily for the award show. But it is not a porblem of her looking good in it.

This outfit just looks like another girl going to the club. The dress is just way to short, it is a movement away from a crotch and butt shot!

Now I love Katy Perry, but this is outfit is allllllll wrong. From the hair to the shoes. The shoes were the worst part for me. They looked like she picked them up from a cheap shoe store on her way to the award show. The dress looks like she got a henna tattoo all over and put a skirt with it.

Boy-Meets-Girl

There has been an epidemic of the boyfriend style for a couple of years now. It started with the boyfriend jeans...

Then it went onto the boyfriend jacket, cardigan, etc.




For Fall 2011 we are putting a twist on the boyfriend look and its called girl-meets-boy. Its the boyfriend look with a more feminine twist. Its also all about layering. It can either be a little preppy or a little bit grunge.



This look is boy meets girl with a little grunge. The plaid button up, sweatshirt, and Doc Marten give you the masculine feel. Everything else is girl with a grunge twist. You have a floral corset, which is very feminine, but the black base and the zipper detail gives it a ruff edge.




This look is boy meets girl with a preppy twist. It consist of boyfriend cardigan and short, layered with a t-shirt and button up.
